Who I Am
Hi! My name is Emily :) and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I was a security guard working night shifts and took a leap into tech in 2020. I started learning about IT, but there wasn't a spark. A good friend of mine introduced me to UX Design and the rest is history! I completed the Google UX Design Course, put those skills to work as an intern at Los Angeles County, and that experience helped me land my role at Allstate as a UX Design Apprentice, where I'm growing as a designer and helping shape experiences for users.
Off the clock, I love to travel, try new things, and explore the world with my husband and our little family, which includes our two doggos, Apolo and Palomo. I love to cook, read, and sing karaoke. This is who I am. Thanks for stopping by!
